Epals Echange: Pumpkin Challenge

Today in AMPLIACIÓN DE INGLÉS we received a message from our epals in USA.

They did a PUMPKIN CHALLENGE for Halloween. The students have to decorate one pumpkin.

Board Games to Learn English

Today with 1st ESO A+B are playing with board games to practice English.

 GUESS WHO is fantastic to practice closed questions with its answers on physical description;

WHAT AM I is fantastic to work on categories with open and closed questions.

SPOT IT helps to identify objects.
 

We practice the vocabulary and the grammar structures that we see in class.

It is fun!

Canal Ivoox EL PATACO SEXITANO: "The story of your name"

Today we have opened a podcast channel of our Revista Digital EL PATACO SEXITANO on IVOOX:


The first activity that we did was with 1st of Bachillerato. The students had to record themselves a podcast with the story of their own names.

Flipping the classroom

Today, some of our students in 1st ESO A have explained the grammar topic to the rest of the class.

Each of the components of the group prepared a part of the explanation: the use of a, an, the, some and any. 

The students prepared the topic at home, explained the theory in the classroom and corrected the exercises with the rest of the class.

It was funnier than listening to the teacher the whole time....

Epals Exchange: Presentation II

Epals Exchange: Presentation I

Today we start our epal exchange between 1st ESO A, B with the subject of AMPLIACIÓN DE INGLÉS and a school in Hannover, USA.

We are talking to 2 classes: GAUDI and PATITOS

They are studying 1st year of ESPAÑOL. They are from RICHMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL.
